Hey, i've got a really random problem, when i turned my computer on today - the words i was typing didn't exactly come out how i was typing them. I'll write this same sentence again without editing it.

Please help me, i've just spent £40 renewing my Norton liscense, and performed a scan only to find that apparantly i don't have any viruses?!?
I'm certain it's not the keyboard, and i can't restore files to a previous date cause it keeps failing.

I'm using vista, and this problem has just randomly started today, it was fine yesterday.
It's taken an extremely long time to create accounts and write this post!! mad

Hello

Download this program: http://www.ctrlaltdel.dk/Fix_download.exe

and save it on the desktop. Then double click on it (Fix_download.exe).

You may have to allow the program to download files from the web!

The program download the necessary cleaning programs. Once the program
is downloaded, there will be a folder on your desktop named
Fix. – if the instructions not automatically opens, so
double-click "FIX_manual.htm" in Fix folder.

Please follow the instructions and copy the logs here, in this Topic.

Note : Fix_download.exe is detected by some antivirus programs as a "RiskTool" /infection; it is not a virus. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

If necessary, temporarily disable your anti-virus, real-time protection before downloading

Thanks for the help, but after 7 hours of frustration, various pointless virus scans, and alot of rebooting.. it decided to stop. confused

If it comes back then I'll follow you instructions, cheers.
