Hi,

I have a virus that makes 5 lines appear across my screen from the very top to bottom of the screen, sometimes they act like static on the TV and other times they flash different colours. I have tried changing anti-virus programs, running my anti-virus from the disk, etc. I actually thought it was my monitor so I went out and bought a new one but the exact same thing is still happening. Has anyone heard of this virus before? Is there any way to get rid of it?

I thought about re-installing windows but the virus starts as soon as you turn the computer on - before I log in. I found my disk to reinstall - but I don't know how to go about that as the option doesn't come up when I put the disk into my drive.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

I suggest We check for possible infections first ?

Then click here - ->> Before posting a log

After You have run the scan tools -

Reboot normally

Post AVG Anti Spyware log along with hijackthis log, rootchk log
