Hello!

about 3 days ago my AVG 8 found worm/autorun on both my drives C: D: and the trojan horse PSW.onlinegames_r.l
and though AVG it gets rid of em hours later they appear again, also i cant view hidden files every time i change the setting in the folder option the reset when i reopen the window, also a few times the only thing responding after a reboot would be the mouse cursor but wasnt able to click on anything

now should i follow the instructions on the before posting a log and post them or is there anything else id need to do as well?

sorry but im a noob in such issues

its come to my attention that i might have infected external hard drives as well, if i connect em to my pc will it be iincluded to the log? sorry for the hassle

Ok.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

http://www.spywarefri.dk/downloads1/mbam-setup.exe

Or here:

to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.

Copy and Paste that log into your next reply, along with fresh hijackthis log.

NB: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Please download Combofix:

Http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/subs/combofix.exe

And save to the desktop.

Close all other browser windows.

Please connect all your external hard drive/flash drive before running Combofix

Important-> Temporarily disable your anti-virus, real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with combofix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".

Double-click on the combofix icon found on your desktop.

Please note, that once you start combofix you should not click anywhere on the combofix window as it can cause the program to stall. In fact, when combofix is running, do not touch your computer at all and just take a break as it may take a while for it to complete.

When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\combofix.txt.

Post the contents of that log in your next reply.

Double-click FileLook.exe to run it.
Important! If using Windows Vista, be sure to Run As Administrator.
