 Keeping your BullGuard Mobile up-to-date

 

New mobile threats are found and identified periodically. This is why it is very important to keep your BullGuard Mobile up-to-date with the latest virus definitions.

 

If you are connected to the Internet, BullGuard Mobile Antivirus takes care of this itself: it checks for new definitions when you turn on your Pocket PC and every 8 hours after that (by default). If any new virus definitions are available, BullGuard Mobile will update itself.

 

If you are not connected to the Internet all the time, BullGuard Mobile will check for updates immediately after you connect to the Internet.

First, open BullGuard Mobile by tapping its icon on the Pocket PC's Desktop:

In BullGuard Mobile's main screen, please go to Menu and choose Settings.

In the next screen, you will be able to view and change the auto-updating period. You may change this period by selecting a new one from the drop-down list.

3 - button  Manual updates 

 

 

 

In BullGuard Mobile's main screen, you will see the Update Now button. When you tap it, BullGuard connects to our servers in order to search and get the latest updates.

If there is an available update, BullGuard will download it and install it after asking for your permision.

If there are no available updates, you will be notified that your virus definitions database is up-to-date.

Note: you always can update manually your BullGuard even if you are not on the main screen. You can use the Menu > Update BullGuard optio.

 

Congratulations! Your BullGuard Mobile Antivirus is now up-to-date!
